Patient Advocate Foundation's 11th Annual A Promise of Hope Affair: "A Black and White Ball... A Night at the Jazz Club" - February 25, 2012

Promise of Hope 2012Patient Advocate Foundation's 11th annual A Promise of Hope Affair  will be held on February 25, 2012 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center and will feature dinner, live and silent auctions, and dancing to the sounds of Slapwater, The Jim Newsom Quartet and special guest, Julie Delgado. This year, A Promise of Hope Affair will have a theme of "A Black and White Ball... A night at the Jazz Club", a chance for our guests to look their best as they wear something black or white or both!

A Promise of Hope Affair, Patient Advocate Foundation’s annual fundraising event provides financial support to our Direct Patient Services to help patients obtain access to quality healthcare. All of the funds raised by the event enables PAF to continue the day-to-day work of helping patients resolve their insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis of a chronic, life-threatening or debilitating disease.

Patient Advocate Foundation, celebrating over 15 years of service, was established in 1996 as a national 501(c) 3 organization headquartered in Hampton, Virginia with a mission of: “safeguarding patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability.”  PAF serves as an active liaison between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention, and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis through case managers, doctors and health care attorneys. PAF also has offices in Queens, NY, Molville, IA, Orlando, FL, San Diego, CA, San Antonio, TX, Dare County, NC, and the LIVESTRONG Cancer Navigation Center in Austin, TX.
